Kisseo E-Card Review and Giveaway

Today I bring to you an awesome review and giveaway from quite a little app.  Truth be told, and if you read my blog you might have picked up on this, but I'm an old fashioned kinda gal.  I like to send snail mail as much as I can; but sometimes I just get swamped.  With the arrive of my third little one it just keeps getting crazier around the Cammo Household.  And even though I will probably always send snail mail, as long as there is still a United States Postal Service, a cool little app like this sure is a lot of fun.  I mean, really, how many people do you know who AREN'T on Facebook or twitter or something like that.  It would be nice I think, to log in one day, a see a cool little card that someone picked out for me; something more than just the regular 'ole newsfeed to look at (not that you all aren't exciting!).
Kisseo is the global leader in eCards and greeting cards, with free eCards for every occasion, such as Birthday eCards, Love eCards, Thank You eCards, Easter eCards, and Christmas eCards, available in 5 different languages.

These cards are adorable and the people that I've sent them to have loved them and thought they were cute.  I love the animation in them and the sounds.  Even my kids got in on the action with me and were looking at cards to send people.  This card below is a favorite of my daughter because of the pandas.  Too cute!

They also have an app on IPhone which is pretty cool.  Here are some views of it below.  I found it very easy to navigate and a fun and easy app.

You can send an ecard from anywhere with this app.  You can also send cards via email and Facebook.  There are tons of cute and fun free cards, but the Premium member cards are really awesome!  And for approximately $24 bucks a year you can have access to all the Premium Cards you want.  These cards aren't just your average online greeting cards.  They are fun, hip, and just like going to your local Hallmark to pick out a card.  And one lucky Cammo Love fan will win a premium membership!!!  Good luck and have fun with the app!  Make sure to check out their facebook app

Happy Valentine's Day Post!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone.  Its the day of love and romance; but when I'm still in my pajamas, no make-up, hair tossed up in a pony, with a little bit of spit-up on my shoulder, feeling romantic isn't really forefront of my mind.  I also happen to have a hubby who works quite a bit, and like most military wives we've had to become creative with our "Romantic-ness" if you know what I mean.  I don't usually write posts like this, trying to keep things as G/PG-ish as possible, but Valentine's Day is the perfect day to write about EdenFantasys.  Now I'm a pretty lucky girl.  I've got a pretty romantic hubby.  We've been together for 13 years.  We started dating in High School when I was weeks shy of 16 and he was 17.  He were married five years later.  Our faith kept us pure those five long years and the hubbs had plenty of time to perfect his romanticness.  He wooed me, that's for sure!  Before we were married, as one of my wedding presents he actually purchased me some Lingere.  That was easily in the top 10 most romantic things he's ever done.  I love wearing it, when I remember too.  Lets face it, moms and married couples all face similar problems.  And there isn't a woman that I've talked to that hasn't experienced this situation.  Its often the joke in movies and tv shows, "Once you have kids you'll never have time for the "bedroom" ever again."  Maybe its the kids, maybe its the fact that we're just busier.  I have friends that don't have kids that work work work and they get tired too.  The truth of the matter is that your relationship has to be a priority.  You also often here of couples drifting apart when there aren't any kids to keep them busy.  I know my husband and I try to make date nights important, whether that be out on the town date nights, or buy a pint of specialty ice cream and watch a movie on the couch kinda date night.  Sometimes you need a little more help, sometimes you just might need to spice it up a bit.  I'm not generally a spicey kinda gal.  Sometimes all I need is a little bit of make-up a little bit of sparkle and that's enough for me!  I love dressing up for my man, doing my hair, putting on his favorite perfume.  That's enough to spice it up for me.  I personally had no idea what types of things EdenFantasys carried.  Luckily, for the prude me there are so many fun things that they carry like body lotions, and make-up and lip gloss and all sorts of other fun girly things.

My marriage is important to me and I want to make it as fun and romantic as possible.  I don't want to lose that spark.  Thirteen years is a long time!  I'm still learning things.  He still makes me smile, he still gives me butterflys and I'm still having fun!!  EdenFantasys is running a special for Valentine's Day.  You can receive 20% off storewide by entering the codeword ROSES.  Just because its Valentine's Day and you might have already gotten something for your special someone, it might be time to get a little something for yourself, or a little something for him  Throw them off by an Un-Valentine's Day gift!  Who needs some holiday to show that you really love your man.

January Photo-A-Day! Better late than never...

Well, I'm totally behind on getting this up!  I stayed up with the picture taking and I haven't enjoyed something as much as this in awhile.  I think I started a picture a day last year but never really stuck with it.  But this challange has been so much fun.  So many people involved, which is so great.  A big thanks to Fat Mum Slim for helping create this challenge for all of us.  And also a big shout-out to House of Smith's (an awesome lady by the way) for creating this linky!  Whoohooo!!!!

I was looking back on all this pictures and I was thinking to myself, gosh where did the month go.  A month ago we were in California, I had just had surgery and we were packing up our lives and living out of suitcases.  We then proceeded to pack three kids (5, 3 and 2 months) into a vehicle, piled high with stuff, and drive across the country.  Wow!  The things we do four our hubby's.  So now here I am with a month full of fun pictures, which by themselves may seem simple and meaningless, but its the little things (as cliche as it sounds) that make up one's life.  And that's so much fun.

Mom's and Sleeping....50% off coupon with Nature's Sleep!

I'm already laughing as I write this post...because seriously? What woman really sleeps the same once you have children, and become, A MOM! We don't! I remember my mom talking about having a hard time sleeping, even when I was older and going out and staying out late. I was at least 18 or 19 when we have the conversation. She told me that she just couldn't get into a deep sleep until she knew I was home, safe in my bed. She knew where I was and that I was safe, but there was something about me being home safe in my bed that was the only thing keeping her from being fast asleep in that bed. If you think about that, it starts out early in our mommyhood. As soon as we have our little ones, then bring them home - and for me - place them in their bassinets, we have kissed real sleep goodbye forever. Are they sleeping okay, are they breathing, are they warm enough, are they too hot? My littlest little one is about three and half months, and for me right now, is it "have they leaked through their diaper," and "will they sleep through the night or for at least 6/7 hours straight?" So the type of worry you face clearly changes over the months and years....but the basic sentiment of lack of sleep and moms is the same.

There is so much to worry about as a mom, so much to lose sleep over, but I wonder if I could make it any better by sleeping on a pillow or mattress that's better for me. I'm not really sure. I've had the same pillows for awhile. I feel like I've broken them in right. They are MY PILLOWS and I love them. That is the tragic part of this post. My husband lost my pillow on our cross country trip. Yep, you heard me right! We stayed in so many hotels while traveling and hotel is sleeping is usually one of the worst sleeps I get. So, this time I made sure to remember my pillow and not pack it. I remembered and it didn't get packed. Then somewhere along the way, Nebraska I think, the pillow somehow didn't get packed. Now if you combine that with one of my daughter's pants and my son's jacket, we actually did a great job. How many hundreds of miles, like 10 states, three kids and two exhausted parents? So now I'm on the hunt for a new and amazing pillow. And that's when I heard about Nature's Sleep, and thought to myself, "Well, maybe this is my chance!" I've tried some of those fancy sleep pillows, you know those hard, memory foam type ones. I dunno, I could just never get comfortable on those. And I thought, are there any other other options for good sleep, some support, but not so hard of support? That's when I stumbled upon Nature's Sleep Faux Down Pillow! A Faux down pillow that still forms to my head for actual head and neck support?! What!!!??? Well, its true people. I have yet to try it. But I might just consider it with this 50% off code from the awesome peeps at Nature's Sleep. And they have been so kind and are allowing me to share it with my readers! Thank you Nature's Sleep!!! Go to NATURE'S SLEEP and enter the code BEARS50 and snag yourself up one of their awesome products!!! Here's to a mama's goodnight sleep!!!

Max's Mole Mash for IPhone and IPad *Review*

Since my recent surprise gift of an IPhone 4S from Santa, aka The hubbs, I've been searching for Apps. "Searching" is really a loose way to describe what I've been doing. I'm obsessed! Upon receiving and setting up the phone I immediately began texting friends to see what they had for Apps, what their favs were and which ones they would recommend. And of course I had to down load some apps for the kid. When I had a blackberry I had your token "kid" apps to keep the kids from freaking out while in the line at the grocery store. Seriously, who among us hasn't chosen THAT line at Wal-Mart.

So, when I was given the opportunity to review a kid's game app I took it! I reviewed Max's Mole Mash. I love the show Max and Ruby. It so cute, and that snarky big sis, Ruby, is just the most hysterical. Finding good kids shows is really hard these days, so I'm happy to have Nick Jr. around and hope I can keep my five year old entertained with that for as long as possible. Here's a little bit about the game:

Entertain your child for hours and hours with hilarious game play as they help Max mash moles before Grandma gets home. Tap the screen every time a mole appears and watch as they quickly disappear back into their holes. Mash all the moles before time runs out to win!

•Select from 8 Max & Ruby themed mole mash machines.
•Play in Arcade or Puzzle mode.
•Enjoy an unlimited number of levels to play and mash.
•Unlock a mini version of the racing game, Speedy Max.
•Collect 8 Max & Ruby Wallpapers.

Both of my kids enjoy this game. I only showed them once what to do and they were easily able to navigate playing the game and also navigating between the games. My five year old is probably on the last stretch of being interested because it can be a slow moving game, but the levels do increase with difficulty. I think that this game is perfect to about 3-4 years of age, but kids a little younger and a little older could still enjoy it for sure. The designs and sounds are straight out of the show, so if you have little Max and Ruby fans this game is perfect for you. I can trust that my children are playing some safe for them. Max's Mole Mash encourages hand eye coordination and recognition of colors and, in my children, patience! At first they just wanted to mash everything that came into view, but then they were happy to inform each other which ones to hit and which ones to not. Needless to say, when mommy is feeding Phillip and they are fighting and nit picking and disciplining them is just not within my realm of reasonableness, this is the perfect key! When mommy and daddy were silly enough to go to the grocery store and it took a little bit longer than we thought and ran into pre-dinner melt down time, this game saves the day!!

I definitely give this game 4 Stars!

Yay another fill-in!!! Thanks to Wife of Sailor for another great linky. If you're a milspouse (wife, gf, fiance!) come join us. Also Military Ladies, check out two giveaways I have going on my site right now, in the right sidebar. Both giveaways are military themed! And if you are searching for support please check out Love and Dogtags

1. What is your favorite winter memory?
My favorite memory was the last Christmas I spent in West Virginia with my mom's family. I was 16 and it was so wonderful. Everyone was there, it was wonderful.

2. What is your current favorite TV show?
Gosh, how do I chose!! Probably the Big Bang Theory and Rizzoli and Isles

3. What was your favorite thing that happened in January?

WE finally moved back east!!! whooohooo!!!!

4. What is the best sound in the world to you?
My kids laughing :)

5. What is the biggest lesson you have learned as a MilSpouse (or significant other)?
Nothing is for sure. I have to be okay with things changing last minute, for him to be gone a lot and not know when or where or anything about anything! LOL! I'm such an organized, listy type girl in my non-military life that not being able to do that in my military life was hard for sure. I'm still learning nine years later.
